Less than 24 hours after an incredible Extreme Rules PPV event, the main event for the upcoming Money in the Bank PPV has been announced. In less than 4 weeks time, Roman Reigns will defend the WWE World Heavyweight Championship against Seth Rollins.

Rollins made his surprise, long awaited return at last night’s Extreme Rules event, laying out the champ with a vicious Pedigree, after he had just defended the championship in an incredible Extreme Rules match against challenger AJ Styles.

Rollins returned at the Extreme Rules PPV to lay out WWE Champion, Roman Reigns.

Rollins was injured late last year during a WWE Live event match in Dublin, Ireland against Kane, after an awkward landing caused him to tear his ACL and meniscus in his knee. He was expected to be out of action for 9 months to repair and rehab the injury, but has made his surprising return 3 months earlier than expected!

With less than 4 weeks until the big match-up at Money in the Bank, we sure as hell can’t wait to see what happens leading up to this match, and to see if Rollins can beat THE GUY and take back the WWE World Heavyweight Championship that he NEVER lost!
