Wimbledon starts tomorrow and with all the build up over the year from the fantastic final we had last year, the big question is who will prevail in 2015? The favourite has to be Novak Djokovic who is currently the world number one and the winner of the tournament last year. He has been in brilliant form this season, winning the Australian open and reaching the final of the French Open. Many times Djokovic when playing this year has looked unstoppable, many think that he won’t be stopped this year and will go on to win it.

Prediction: I’m making a bold prediction that Djokovic will reach the final but lose the match.

The second favourite for this Wimbledon has to be Andy Murray with the home turf advantage and the crowd behind him. Murray has also been in great form, with many people feeling this is the tournament where he will end his two-year win-less grand slam streak.

Prediction : I personally cannot see him winning the tournament due to the fact I don’t believe he is playing at his best level.  I think Murray will ultimately be eliminated in the Semi-Final.

The third favourite for the tournament and who is Roger Federer. With 7 Wimbledon titles and 17 grand slams titles, Federer is certainly the most experienced player in the tournament. The 33-year-old reached the final last year, narrowly being beaten in a 5th set decided by Novak Djokovic. Many people feel that this could be Federer’s last year where he can make a real push for the title.

Prediction: I personally feel that he could win it, this is due Wimbledon being his favourite grand slam and it always brings out his best performances. I really can see him doing it this year. I think he will win the tournament.

The fourth favourite for the tournament is Stan Wawrinka, I really do think he could be the dark horse of this tournament. The way he played in the French Open wasn’t human. He showed that he could beat both Federer and Djokovic on the big stage.

Prediction: I think if he plays anything like the way he played in the French Open he could have a big chance of getting his first Wimbledon title.  However he could struggle due to the grass court being a lot faster and could affect his ability to hit the amount of winners he normally does.

I think this will be as great tournament as it always is and it will be very interesting to see who wins and if there will be any big upsets in the early rounds.
